In what is being described as one of the most emotional announcements in recent club history, Nottingham Forest F.C. have officially confirmed the return of club legend John Robertson to the organization in a major leadership capacity beginning in 2026.

 

The announcement was reportedly made by Forest chairman Nicholas Randall KC and his family, declaring that Robertson — the iconic figure of the club’s historic European era — will rejoin the Reds in a senior coaching and executive advisory role.

 

Robertson remains one of the most revered names in Forest’s illustrious history.
