A shocking claim surrounding Aston Villa has sent supporters into a frenzy, with reports circulating that head coach Unai Emery has decided to step down from his position at the club.
However, there is currently no credible confirmation that Emery has resigned. In fact, the latest reports show the Spanish coach was still in charge of Aston Villa during their Premier League match against Hull City on September 5, 2026.
The speculation comes at a difficult moment for Villa, who have struggled for goals at the beginning of the new campaign. The club drew 0–0 with Hull, leaving Emery under increasing pressure from sections of the fanbase.
