Middle blocker Anna Smrek, one of the team’s most dominant and consistent presences at the net, opened up with a message that resonated far beyond the court.
“I honestly can’t believe what’s going on right now,” Smrek said. “This journey has been overwhelming in the best way.”

“So much of what I’ve been able to do comes from the support around me,” she shared. “The coaches, my teammates, my family — none of this happens without them.”

“The energy is unreal,” she said. “Badger Nation shows up every time, and you feel that support with every point.”
