A wave of excitement and nostalgia swept over Canucks Nation today as the franchise officially announced that Trevor Linden, one of the most beloved players in team history, is returning to the Vancouver Canucks—this time as a Senior Coaching Staff Member.

Linden, often hailed as “Captain Canuck,” is regarded as the franchise’s ultimate leader and fan favourite, having led the team to the dramatic 1994 Stanley Cup Final and serving as captain for seven seasons. His jersey (#16) already hangs in the rafters at Rogers Arena—a symbol of leadership, toughness, and dedication.
