BREAKING NEWS: Nashville Predators Foundation Distributes Record-Breaking Grant Donation to 190 Local Nonprofits

NASHVILLE, TN — May 31, 2025 — The Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the community, distributing a record-breaking grant total to 190 local nonprofit organizations across Middle Tennessee.

This year’s distribution marks the largest single-year grant donation in the Foundation’s history, showcasing the franchise’s deepening impact off the ice. The announcement was made during a special presentation held at Bridgestone Arena, where representatives from each recipient organization gathered to celebrate the unprecedented philanthropic achievement.

The grant total, which exceeds all previous years, reflects both the strength of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and the generosity of the Predators fanbase and corporate partners.

“This is more than a milestone for us—this is a message to the community that we are here, we care, and we are committed to creating lasting change,” said Nashville Predators President and CEO Sean Henry. “Each of the 190 nonprofits we support today plays a vital role in building a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Middle Tennessee.”

The recipient organizations span a wide range of focus areas including youth education, health and wellness, social services, arts and culture, and animal welfare. Among the grantees are groups such as Second Harvest Food Bank, Book’em, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and the Nashville Humane Association.

The grant program is part of the Foundation’s broader mission to support community organizations that work tirelessly to improve the quality of life across the region. Over the years, the Foundation has donated millions to local causes, becoming one of the NHL’s leading examples of community involvement.

This year’s grant distribution is the culmination of months of fundraising events, including the beloved Preds Foundation Wine Festival & Tasting Event, GnashVegas Casino Night, and numerous in-game auctions and drives.
