Vancouver, BC — In a thrilling announcement for hockey fans worldwide, Netflix has unveiled the official release date for its latest sports documentary, “The UnderDog,” which tells the remarkable story of Vancouver Canucks legend Henrik Sedin. The film is set to premiere globally on August 15.

“The UnderDog” offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at Sedin’s journey from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, to NHL superstardom alongside his twin brother Daniel. It promises never-before-seen archival footage, candid interviews with Henrik himself, teammates, coaches, family, and hockey icons, shedding light on his leadership, humility, and the pivotal role he played in transforming the Vancouver Canucks franchise.
