DEAL ACCEPTED: New Orleans Saints Tight End Dallin Holker Signs a 3-Year, $2.84 Million Contract

In a strategic move to bolster their tight end depth, the New Orleans Saints have officially signed tight end Dallin Holker to a three-year, $2.84 million contract. The deal includes a $10,000 signing bonus, $235,000 in total guarantees, and an average annual salary of approximately $946,667.

A Promising Addition to the Saints’ Roster

Holker, who went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, was one of the Saints’ highest-paid undrafted free agents that year. Standing at 6’3″ and weighing 241 pounds, Holker showcased impressive skills during his college career at Colorado State, recording 64 receptions for 766 yards and 6 touchdowns in the 2023 season.

Despite his undrafted status, Holker’s potential was evident, and the Saints recognized his abilities, offering him a contract that reflected their confidence in his talent.

2024 Season Performance

In his rookie season with the Saints, Holker appeared in 12 games, starting in 2, and recorded 3 receptions for 21 yards. While his stats were modest, his role was primarily as a depth piece behind established veterans. However, with the departure of some key players, Holker is expected to take on a more significant role in the upcoming season.

Looking Ahead

With the Saints’ tight end depth chart undergoing changes, Holker has an opportunity to step up and contribute more substantially to the team’s offensive schemes. His blend of size, athleticism, and hands make him a valuable asset as the Saints look to enhance their passing game.
