In a stunning and heartwarming development, the St. Louis Blues have announced that franchise icon Brett Hull is officially returning to the team — this time, behind the bench.
The Blues confirmed today that Hull, one of the most beloved and accomplished players in team history, will rejoin the organization as Senior Coaching Advisor, sparking excitement throughout the NHL and the greater St. Louis community.

Hull, who scored 527 goals in a Blues uniform from 1988 to 1998, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009 and previously held an executive role with the team. His return in a coaching capacity marks a full-circle moment for both him and the franchise.
Fans gathered outside Enterprise Center upon hearing the news, with many calling it a “new era of Blues hockey.”
