Rangers FC midfielder Nicolas Raskin has once again found himself at the centre of major transfer speculation, with strong interest from clubs outside Scotland continuing to surround the Belgian international.
The future of the Rangers midfielder has become one of the biggest talking points of the club’s transfer window. While supporters have been waiting for confirmation of a potential move, the latest information indicates that Raskin has not officially completed a transfer.
Raskin has attracted significant attention following his impressive performances for both Rangers and Belgium. His displays have increased his reputation across Europe, making him a highly sought-after midfielder during the summer transfer period.
One of the clubs strongly linked with the player has been Besiktas. The Turkish side made an approach for Raskin, but Rangers rejected the offer. Reports indicated that the Scottish club were not prepared to allow one of their key midfielders to leave for a fee below their valuation.
Earlier in the summer, Rangers were also reported to have rejected an offer from Hull City worth approximately £12–14 million, with the Ibrox club understood to be seeking a significantly higher figure.
The situation became even more interesting after reports suggested that Raskin could be open to a move away from Glasgow. However, Rangers manager Derek McInnes has continued to praise the midfielder’s attitude and professionalism.
McInnes previously stated that Raskin had been training brilliantly after returning from the World Cup and that, if he remained at Rangers after the transfer window, he would continue to provide excellent service to the club.
For Rangers supporters, the situation remains one to watch closely. Raskin has established himself as an important player in the midfield, and losing him would leave the club with a major gap to fill.
At the same time, a substantial transfer fee could give Rangers significant financial resources to strengthen other areas of the squad.
For now, however, there is no confirmed announcement that Nicolas Raskin has transferred to another club. The midfielder remains officially listed as a Rangers player, and supporters will have to wait for an official announcement before celebrating or reacting to any completed move.
