Brentford have confirmed the return of former head coach Uwe Rösler, appointing him as the club’s new Technical Director in a move aimed at strengthening their long-term football strategy and academy pathway.
Rösler, who previously managed the Bees during a transformative spell earlier in the club’s modern rise, will now work closely with CEO Jon Varney and the club’s football leadership team. His primary focus will be overseeing the development pipeline from academy level through to the first team, ensuring continuity in playing philosophy and talent progression.
Speaking on the appointment, Varney emphasized the significance of Rösler’s return, highlighting both his historical impact and deep understanding of Brentford’s identity.
